out off these four refrence pictures i used the one where the monks are walking because i really liked the bridge like structure 

i first started off with making basic shapes in maya and after that i added the detail and the little balls you see in the railing and tree housing

these are the steps you see in the picture

this is the railing you see 

and this is the pillar allthough i couldnt get a clear picture of the picture i kind of imagined what it would look like

and this part is the corner of the bridge

and this the housing for the tree i wanted make it look like the people who lived in angkor wat planted this to honor the tree

and finally this is the tree
